Running Accomplishments:

I have only run 2 marathon's in my life.... Grandma's in 2002 and Twin Cities in 2008. I just finished nothing spectacular.... This last year I got the running bug so here we are.... Let's see what happens!

Short-Term Running Goals:

I told myself that I was not going to run anymore Marathon's until I am 50.... Well, that didn't work! I have been talked into signing up for 35th running of Grandma's Marathon on June 18th, 2011... I have had running friends who have qualified for Boston and it has inspired me to see if I could qualify. So I guess we will see how it goes... Wish me luck.....

Long-Term Running Goals:

OK!! Maybe Boston should be my Long-term goal..... hmmm?

Personal:

I am happily Married, with a big dog and no children yet!!!

What an adventure today out running the snow covered, uplowed streets of St. Paul.... I believe at run time of Noon the temp was -1 but it was very Sunny out. Amanda, Bridget and I ran towards Swede Hallow but the path was not plowed at all, so we stayed on the street and went up most of Mounds Hill. We turned around at the park area and I think that is about a 3mile run that took us 27:37 for time.  I felt pretty good and think my legs are feeling better, they are not feeling so heavy anymore. I am glad that I had people to run with or I might have not gone at all. We will see what tomorw brings... It time to get back in my groove.

see ya!

YAY! Way to get out there. I can't imagine trying to run in that type of cold (it's been high 50's here in sunny Colorado!) Keep it up!
